The View From Drew

I'm not much of a baseball fan. In fact, I've been pretty much disgusted with the whole thing what with the overblown salaries and idolization of people who hit balls with wooden bats while people such as police, fire fighters and teachers, such as myself, are underpaid and way under appreciated.

And yet, I'm in a fantasy baseball league.

For me, it's a chance to hang out with some of my colleagues at school as well as some teachers from my past who no longer work there. It's a way to keep contact during the summer. It's also a chance to win some cash - although I came in eighth out of nine last year.

My team is called Drewshi's Dropouts. I had to pick my seventeen remainders going into the draft today and this is what I'm working with:

Javy Lopez, Orlando Cabrera, Eric Chavez, Frank Catalanatto, Coco Crisp (I must admit, I only picked him as he had a name like a cereal), Shea Hillenbrand, Alex Cora, Bubba Crosby (I think it's cool I've got someone named Bubba on my team), Paul Korneko, Erik Beddard, Nick Punto, Joaquin Benot, Daniel Cabrera, Bruce Chen, Vinnie Chulk, Neal Cotts, and Brad Radke.

Anybody out there with knowledge of the game want to give me some tips for draft?
