I don't speak much about my family outside of Sue and Eddie. I'm one of four children - a brother and two sisters. Both my parents are still living and are still married, despite troubles over the years. My father had a heart attack five years ago. The only good upside to the whole experience was that he gave up smoking on the spot, which was interesting as every other attempt he had made had resulting in a surly dad who gave in after three weeks.

Well, he recently started feeling pain in his stomach. A few weeks ago, it was determined he had an aneurysm in his aorta as it leads through his stomach. The doctor determined that my father was well enough to travel to Ireland though for two weeks. Today, they discovered the bulge was larger than they figured - 5.5 centimeters in total. He will go in for further tests next week to determine the course of treatment, either the placement of a stent or surgery.
